Nesecu

Nesecu Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 7, 2026

There is no account registration in Nesecu, and no developer server receives app feature data. Photos and information needed for app features are processed on your device. Google AdMob ads appear on some app screens to maintain free features (Section 7), and anonymous usage statistics are collected to improve the app (Section 8 — you can turn this off in the app's Settings at any time). If you email customer support directly, your email address, message, and any information you attach are sent to the developer so they can respond.

1. App Feature Data and Support Inquiries

There is no account registration in Nesecu, and contacts, keyboard input, and photos are not collected on a developer server. Processing for ad delivery, including advertising identifiers, takes place only within the scope of Section 7, Advertising. Anonymous usage statistics about which features you use are collected only through the analytics tools described in Section 8.

However, if you contact hello@mmche.studio directly, your email address, message, and any information you attach are delivered to the developer's inbox for customer support. Support emails may be retained for as long as needed to respond and review the inquiry history. If you request deletion, they will be deleted to the extent that retention is not required by law.

2. Photos

Photos you select when creating stickers are processed only on your device. Subject extraction (Apple Vision) runs on the device, and photos and stickers are stored only on your device and in your iCloud backup. The system photo picker is used when creating stickers, so the app receives only the photos you select.

The app may request access to your photo library to collect completed wallpapers in a dedicated Photos album named "[Name]'s Wallpapers", using the name you chose. This permission is used only to create the album and organize saved images. Even if you do not grant it, saving works with "Add Photos Only" permission (without album organization). The app does not read photo library contents for other purposes or transmit them outside your device.

3. Calendar and Reminders

Calendar events and tasks are read only with your permission to display them in widgets. The information read is stored in storage shared by the app and widgets. Because these copies are a cache that can be recreated, the app excludes them from device backups and does not send them to a developer server. If you revoke permission in iOS Settings, widgets check the permission status and stop displaying events and tasks. The next time you launch the app, it checks for revoked permission and deletes the copies of events and tasks stored in the shared storage on your device.

4. Cleanup of Data from Earlier Versions

Since the August 29, 2026 update, weather widgets and location processing are no longer provided, and the app no longer requests location permission. When the app opens or becomes active again, it attempts to delete each dedicated weather and location file left by earlier versions in the storage shared by the app and widgets. If some files cannot be deleted, cleanup continues for the other dedicated files, and failed deletions are retried the next time the app becomes active or launches. This cleanup does not affect stickers, packs, journey data, artworks, or supported widget settings.

5. Nesecu Keyboard

The Nesecu keyboard has a Stickers tab labeled with your chosen name and a Text Faces tab. Text faces consist entirely of actual Unicode characters. You can type characters and browse stickers in shared storage without Full Access. To organize recently and frequently used text faces, the keyboard extension stores only the stable IDs of built-in expressions, their use counts, and their recency order. It does not read or store the sentences you type or their surrounding context.

Full Access is required only to copy a selected transparent cutout sticker image to the clipboard and record recently used sticker IDs. Copied images stay on this device only and expire after 5 minutes. The keyboard does not retrieve clipboard text or clipboard history, and does not automatically read or monitor clipboard contents.

The keyboard extension contains no code for internet requests. It does not send typed characters, surrounding context, or text face and sticker usage information outside your device.

6. In-App Purchases

One-time in-app purchases, including instant unlocks for the Clock, Calendar, Reminders, and Notes widgets and the Supporter Pack, are processed through Apple's App Store system. Apple handles payment information, and the developer cannot access payment method details. The Notes unlock purchase unlocks only customization of the sticker Notes widget.

7. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Google AdMob interstitial ads are used to maintain free features. Game ads appear once every 2 rounds, when you tap to play again on the results screen. Ads for a new wallpaper or a new widget customization appear when you start that task, and are limited so that they do not appear twice within 1 minute.

Google AdMob and its consent management tool (UMP) may process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP addresses, device and app identifiers, interactions with ads and the app, and crash, performance, and diagnostic information for ad delivery and measurement, consent management, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and service improvement. They do not read precise location, such as GPS data, or request location permission. The advertising identifier (IDFA) is used for ad measurement and personalization only if you allow the iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) request. If you do not allow it, ads are requested without passing the IDFA. All app features remain equally available either way. You can change tracking permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Depending on your region, you can review or change your Google advertising privacy choices through "Manage Ad Privacy" in the app's Settings.

The developer does not use photos, calendar events, tasks, keyboard input, or sticker contents for advertising or provide them to Google. Google's data processing is governed by Google's Advertising Technologies Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.

8. Anonymous Usage Statistics (Analytics Tools)

We collect anonymous usage statistics to make the app easier to use. If you do not want data collected, select "Don't Share" under Settings → Privacy → Anonymous Usage Stats in the app to stop collection immediately.

Data collected: in-app behavioral events (for example, completing a sticker, saving a wallpaper, completing widget customization, and whether a purchase was completed); device model, iOS version, app version, and language; an anonymous identifier randomly generated by the analytics tools when the app is installed; and IP addresses and approximate country- and city-level location inferred from IP addresses. Photos, sticker images, your chosen name, calendar and reminder contents, and keyboard input are never included. The analytics tools do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA). See Section 7 for the use of IDFA in advertising.

Collection method and processing on our behalf: the SDKs of the analytics tools below collect this data automatically within the app and process it on the developer's behalf. Both providers have servers overseas (in the United States), where the collected statistics are processed and stored.

  • PostHog (PostHog Inc., United States) — behavioral events and device information. Retention: up to 7 years from the date of collection, or the period specified in the account settings.
  • Google Analytics for Firebase (Google LLC, United States) — behavioral events and device information. Retention: up to 14 months.

Purpose: understanding feature usage and improving the service. The data is not used for profiling or personalized advertising.

How to opt out: set "Anonymous Usage Stats" to "Don't Share" in the app's Settings to stop future collection. You can request deletion of previously collected statistics at hello@mmche.studio.

9. Retention, Deletion, and Revoking Permissions

Stickers, packs, journey data, artworks, widget customizations, and the keyboard's recently used IDs are retained until you delete them in the app or uninstall the app. Images and dedicated albums saved to Photos from the app may remain in your photo library after you uninstall the app, so you must delete them directly in Photos. App Store purchase records remain in your Apple Account and are managed under Apple's policies.

You can revoke Photos, Calendar, and Reminders permissions at any time under Privacy & Security in iOS Settings. You can remove the keyboard in Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards and turn off Full Access in the same place. There is no developer server that stores app feature data, and there is no account data. You can request deletion of customer support emails as described in Section 1.

10. Third-Party Processing

The developer does not sell photos, calendar events, tasks, or keyboard input, or share them with advertising or analytics providers. Apple App Store processes payments; Google AdMob handles ad delivery within the scope of Section 7; and the analytics tools described in Section 8 process anonymous usage statistics on the developer's behalf.
